EL TEN MAN TOURNAMENT
In the 10-man event 24 teams in all came back to try to step up to the number one spot on the podium. The count was quickly dwindled down to 12 teams, with four in each division. The JT and Dye fields were played today and the zipper on the JT field tapeline was a major factor in the games. If a team was able to come out and own the zipper, the opposing team lost bodies rapidly and had to go on the defensive to stay in the game. Ethan Simonton of Team Nasty proved this was the case when he took the zipper off the break and annihilated Gridlock in the semi final round. It didn’t prove enough to advance Nasty into the final round, but they placed sixth overall in the amateur division.

The teams that did advance were: Image, Static, Kapp Factory and Team Addicted. Kapp, the favorite going into the event, dropped all three games in the final round and took fourth. Image, with some old talent back on the squad pulled out a third place finish. Static took second and Team Addicted was able to prove themselves In Division I X-Ball it was the undefeated Naughty Dogs that dominated the field in the championship game. Coming from the loser’s bracket and playing their second game of the day, the All Americans didn’t have a chance. The Naughty Dogs came out running and ran through the All Americans with a score of 8 to 3.
The All Americans Double Up
With this victory, following the 2003 PSP Los Angeles win, the Naughty Dogs will take home ,000 straight up cash. The All Americans, will also be rewarded for their second place finish and will leave with ,000 cash.
